Have you ever thought about making green improvements to your home but needed ideas or more information? Local community group, West Cornwall Community Renewables, is running a Green Open Homes weekend where householders who have made energy and environmental improvements, large or small, are opening their doors to share their experience and their homes with other local people interested in installing green home improvements.
A quarter of the UK’s carbon emissions come from energy used in the home and with average energy bills topping £1,200 a year making energy efficiency improvements at home can make an important contribution to both cutting carbon emissions and energy costs. West Cornwall has some of the highest levels of fuel poverty in the UK and with many households across the area are struggling to pay increasing energy bills and keep their homes warm, there is an urgent need to find ways to save energy and cut fuel bills. Come along to our open homes and get inspired.
Tickets for West Cornwall Green Open Homes are free and can be pre-booked using their online booking system.
