A map of the ancient sites of Penwith and their alignments has been created using Google Maps. It's based on years of work done by many researchers since the days of geomancer John Michell around 1970, and many new discoveries have been made while making the map.
Its accuracy standards are high. For reasons yet to be understand, ancient sites from neolithic to medieval times were located very deliberately in alignment with each other, and the purpose of this project is to come to a closer understanding of why. What did the ancients know that we don't? This website examines the evidence and outlines discoveries made in the making of the map, providing observations about what lies behind all this.
